How to use the guide
The guide can be read in any order. Here is what it can do - on real screens.
- 1
Find stores by brand, category or price
Choose a category ("Shoes"), a brand or a price range - for example, $16-30 - and the guide shows the stores where that happens and how many such items were in our shopping trips. Filters combine: "Bags + $16-30."

Find the brand you want in a second
Start typing a name - Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Coach - and only the stores where that brand shows up remain. All brands and stores are in alphabetical order.

See real shopping trips and prices
Each store's page covers what to buy there, how the discounts work, the rewards program and sizes. Below that are our shopping trips to that store: dates, cities, how many items there were, in-store prices and the best finds. Tap a photo to open the item itself.

Check the price before you buy
Enter a brand or an item and you'll see what it cost on the shelf in the US, without markups. Handy for telling whether a reseller is asking a fair price.

Know when discounts are biggest
A sale calendar by month: holiday sales, seasonal markdowns, members-only store promotions. And remember that in the US there are discounts all year round.

Find outlets and clearance stores nearby
A map of outlet centers, brand clearance stores and temporary warehouse sales by state - with addresses.

Save even more with cards and programs
Which rewards program is where, what a store card gives you, and whether paid membership is worth it - so you can add cash back and coupons on top of the discount.

The guide on your phone screen
Add the "Shopping USA" icon - the guide will open with one tap, like an app, with no need to look up the site.
How to add
- Open this page in Safari.
- Tap Share at the bottom of the screen - the square with an arrow pointing up.
- Scroll down and choose "Add to Home Screen".
- Tap "Add" - the "Shopping USA" icon will appear on your screen.
- Open this page in Chrome.
- Tap ⋮ in the top right corner.
- Choose "Add to Home screen" or "Install app".
