Ulta Beauty has mass-market and drugstore brands (Maybelline, L'Oreal, NYX, CeraVe, La Roche-Posay) and premium and luxury brands (Clinique, Benefit, Tarte, MAC, Chanel, Dior, Tom Ford, Charlotte Tilbury) in one place, plus lots of Korean cosmetics (COSRX, Anua, Round Lab, Skin1004). There's a large hair care department, personal care and bath products, and since July 2026 a Bath & Body Works section in 600+ stores. Almost every store has a salon, The Salon at Ulta Beauty: haircuts, coloring, brows. There are more than 1,500 stores in the US. Mass-market products are often part of "buy one, get one at a discount" promotions.

How to read the price and where it's lowest
- The mass-market section almost always has "buy one, get one 50% off" offers on certain brands - you can see them on the price tags by the shelves.
- There are hair product sales (Gorgeous Hair Event, up to 50%), holiday promotions and Black Friday.
- The main promotion is 21 Days of Beauty, described below.
