Sorel is a winter footwear brand owned by Columbia Sportswear. Sorel has almost no outlets of its own in Premium Outlets: the brand is sold through sorel.com and other retailers - Nordstrom, Dick's Sporting Goods, Scheels and others. Some pairs turn up at Columbia Factory Store, and the Columbia employee store in Portland sells Sorel all the time. Besides winter boots, Sorel makes Chelsea boots, slip-ons, summer sandals, and men's and kids' shoes.
From our shopping trips
We have been to Sorel more than ten times - on separate shopping trips and together with Columbia. The biggest hauls had 170-190 pairs. Prices ranged from $1 to $100, most often $16-30, and discounts from the original price went up to 85-90%.
Most often people bought Chelsea boots for $29.70-29.93 instead of $180-190, and slip-ons and summer sandals for $15 instead of $100.
