What to buy here
What to look for here
Polos and shirts with the embroidered rider are a classic you recognize instantly. The Factory Store has lots of men's clothing, kids' items (often in a separate Polo Ralph Lauren Children store), sweaters and jackets. Kids' polos and sets are a great item for moms: inexpensive and they look like a gift.
Most of the Factory Store selection is made for outlets. A sign shoppers often pay attention to is the tag: on outlet items it usually differs from the tags in department stores. It is still original Ralph Lauren, but not the same collection as at Macy's. Do not confuse it with U.S. Polo Assn. - that is a different, cheaper brand, even though the logo looks similar.
Besides regular outlets, Ralph Lauren has separate clearance stores - Polo Ralph Lauren Clearance, where everything works out much cheaper. The addresses of these stores are on the store map, the "Outlets" tab, brand Polo Ralph Lauren Clearance.
My experience: clearance racks
What I've noticed over the years of shopping here
In my experience, Ralph Lauren Outlet stores are the cheapest in the world. Ralph Lauren used to give bigger discounts, but even now you can catch very good items, including on the Clearance racks. These racks are not always out, and every so often an extra 70% is put on them.
