Ollie's buys leftover lots, discontinued models and surplus from manufacturers and sells them far cheaper than regular retail. The selection is a mix: home and kitchen goods, bedding, books, toys, cosmetics and personal care, groceries, seasonal items, furniture, sometimes clothing and shoes. The most interesting are well-known American brands for home and kitchen, vitamins and personal care, and kids' items and toys. The chain is large - about 686 stores in 36 states.

The same item arrives in one lot: when it runs out, it may never be back.

The chain is from Harrisburg (Pennsylvania), and its slogan is "Good Stuff Cheap". In 2026 Ollie's is opening about 75 new stores, many in the spaces of closed Big Lots. Besides what's listed here, there are books, tools, flooring, pet supplies and sports goods.

Prices are up to 70% lower than at expensive stores and about 20-25% lower than at Walmart and Target. There's no permanent list of brands: it all depends on whose leftovers they managed to buy out. Well-known names that turn up include Hasbro, Kellogg's and Yankee Candle, plus the chain's own brands - for example, Sarasota Breeze home goods and Steelton Tools tools. There's little name-brand clothing and footwear here - for those, better go to TJ Maxx or Ross.
