Old Navy is a budget clothing brand from the same group as Gap and Banana Republic. Basics for the whole family: jeans, T-shirts, hoodies, pajamas, outerwear, and a large kids' and baby department. The main thing here is kids' clothing at low prices and matching family sets for holidays.
It is one company - Gap Inc. - and its brands share points and a credit card, but the level of the clothes is different. Old Navy is the most affordable: basic clothing for the whole family. Gap is mid-level: American classics, jeans and logo items. Banana Republic is higher in quality and style: office clothing, linen, merino, cashmere. The company also includes Athleta, women's activewear. Gap and Banana Republic have Factory outlet lines - items made specially for outlets and cheaper.
