For many people a Michael Kors bag is an easy-to-understand status gift for a reasonable price. Besides bags, the outlet has wallets, watches, shoes and clothing. The most popular are monogram bags, crossbody bags and wallets.
Most of the bags in the outlet are made specially for outlets: the models resemble past-season collections but differ in leather, hardware and details. For example, the outlet version of the Hamilton has a name plate instead of a lock. At the outlet you are buying the outlet line, not a boutique bag.

What I've noticed over the years of shopping here
Worldwide, Michael Kors is considered a premium brand, but in America its prices are very low. Comparing prices around the world, the US has the biggest discounts: in Asia and Europe this brand costs 4-5 times more. The quality of the bags and shoes is decent and they last a long time.
The store has clearance racks: sometimes the discount on them reaches 80%, sometimes there is a fixed price. Previous collections end up on clearance - clothing, shoes, a fairly wide selection. The main floor can also have a fixed price on a bag or clothing model, or a discount.
Shoes are very popular and good quality. There are periodic fixed prices on shoes specifically: there have been $35 a pair - genuine leather, ballet flats, and winter shoes. It all depends on the season and the promotion.
There are very often extra discounts when you buy several items or spend over a certain amount - banners about them usually stand at the entrance.
