What to look for here
The stores are called HANESbrands (formerly L'eggs Hanes Bali Playtex Factory Outlet). They are outlets for basic clothing from all of the company's brands: Hanes, Bali, Maidenform, Playtex, L'eggs. They are mostly in smaller Simon and Tanger outlet centers: Finger Lakes (New York), Grove City (Pennsylvania), Gulfport (Mississippi), Tucson (Arizona), Camarillo and San Francisco (California), Ellenton (Florida) and others.
- Men's and women's underwear in sets.
- Bali, Maidenform and Playtex bras - the store fits you for your size for free.
- Socks and tights.
- T-shirts, tank tops, sweatshirts and sweatpants.
- Pajamas and loungewear, kids' clothes.
Sets are often bought for the whole family. The company sold the Champion sports brand in 2024, so it may no longer be in these stores - Champion has its own outlets, see Champion Outlet. Some locations close - check the store on the outlet center's website before you go.
From our shopping trips
We had 2 shopping trips at Hanes. Almost everything cost $8-15 per set, and the discounts on the price tags went up to 80%.
