What to buy here

What to look for here

Dr. Martens is British footwear, and models are searched for by number: 1460 boots (8 eyelets), 1461 shoes, 2976 Chelsea boots, Jadon platforms. There aren't many brand stores in America - about 60 across the whole region, most in the US, in big cities and malls (New York, Boston, Mall of America and others). In 2024-2025 the brand opened its first outlet, in Los Angeles. Find the nearest store in the locator on drmartens.com.

If you love this brand, it's definitely worth going to the brand store: there are far more models than in multi-brand department stores, and you'll find all the most interesting ones. There are deals and discounts too, and from time to time separate sale racks are set up. The assortment does change, of course - what was there last time may be gone.

The classic 1460 boots cost about $170-180 in the US, and drop to $120-130 during sales.

From our shopping trips
